My first website : Internet Authoring

Paul Smith:

I had to create a website based on someone I admire. So,I came up with the idea that I wanted to make a website for Paul Smith.

When we talk about clothes we probably think about which brand they are or who the designer is. However, in fact there are not many clothes brands and designers that are that well-known and unique . Personally, I admire and am a big fan of a fashion designer from England called Paul Smith.

He is an interesting person, not only for designing clothes; he also has many other talents and is well known for holding exciting views on design in general. In the world of design and fashion he is really unique. His designs are full of fun and that is why I have chosen him and why I would like to present him as the main focus in my website.

iMAGE assignment !

IMAGE ASSIGNMENT

1.Love

The word love can refer to a variety of different feelings. From my point of
view, love is all about connection. These connection can be between a
person, a place, a pet, possession, or another person. The reason that I took
this photograph was because of the way the lady put her hands behind the
man’s back. First, when I saw this couple I think this couple might have been
together for many years. However, although there are old their love doesn’t
seem to grow old. In my opinion, love doesn’t have to get weaker when
people grow older.

2. HATE
Hate is an intense feeling of dislike. It may occur in a wide variety of
contexts. Hatred is a very strong negative emotion, we can hate almost
anything. Although it usually mean another person. Often we are not able to
show hatred directly to the person we hate. Instead I tried to show hatred an
indirect way. My Idea came up with using a voo-doo doll.

3.STRONG
After I tried to find an inspiration for the word ‘strong’. In my point of
view, strong means something that very solid, reliable and steady. Something
that we can depend on it. My idea came up about materials that make me feel
really heavy and look so strong when they combine with other materials. The
final idea was the picture of the structure of the Eiffel tower in Paris, France.

4.CORRUPT

In my photograph, I wanted tolook at another meaning of the word ‘corrupt’. This meaning is less commonbut it is still connected to the other meaning I have been talking about. This
second meaning is about physical decomposition or rotting. I heard this
meaning of the word being used in some funeral ceremonies. In these
ceremonies the priest said that the body would be corrupted in the earth but
that the dead person’s spirit would not and that it would live on. In this
photograph, the whole graveyard seems to be rotting and corrupting just like
the bodies that lie underneath the ground. The writing on the stones is fading
and they are falling over into the ground.

My Idea for RM final paper

Topic “ How do people use visual resources (photography, Typography, Lay-out design etc.) to describe what they are selling /posting in online auction in this case will study from EBay”

This project will looks at one aspect of visual communication in order to study how ordinary people use a variety of visual techniques to describe a range of objects. The chosen site is eBay, an online auction platform used by hundreds of millions of people across the globe to buy and sell goods of every description. This site was chosen because sellers on eBay can use photographs that they have taken themselves of the item on sale as well as their own words to describe what they are trying to sell. The particular focus of this project is to study how photographic and typography techniques vary across different types of product and different types of sellers.

Motivation

- Personally, I am interested in selling /buying things online also I have experienced to be buyer and seller in eBay.

- The visual activity is done by ordinary people, not professional.

- The number of eBay user currently has more than 200 million live listings, 33 percent more than at this time a year ago. This number can show this is one kind of business that people may like it.

PS, This is just an idea,so I will try to put more informations asap.

Type assignment!

TYPE ASSIGNMENT :

When I first got the brife about he type assignment I tried to think in big picture terms,

how is it going to be, what color do I want to present? I started by thinking word by word and brainstroming step by step until I got an idea to present and interrogate each word's meanings by using line, tone, colortexture, etc. I have tried to connect four ideas together and came up with the concept ' GLOWING IN THE DARK '

Moma!

I was cleaning and arrange all my files from my laptop and I found some pics which I really like the idea. About 4 month ago before I moved to Ireland , I was in New york city. I went to the Moma ( Museum of Modern Art ) . I remember that when I was there on the second floor in Moma. I saw many people stayed in line for some reason after that I looked at inside the room and didn't understand what was that going on? My friend and I decided to stay in the line and wanted to know what was going on inside.?

Finally, when I got inside the room, I was amazed and love the idea of the project so so much.
The idea was when we were young and our parents kept checking how tall we were every year, to see how develop of their child. That was the idea of this project,so they opened for anybody who came to visit Moma put their height and date of birth on the wall. At that time when i was there, it became a piece of art project on the wall which was incredible as you can see from the picture.!!

WOW so awesome.

I love Helvetica....!

Helvetica,

First of all, I have to say sorry for not blogging during past a few weeks because of some network problem but I am back !

Every typeface, like every one of us, has its distinguishing features.

Helvetica is a popular choice for commercial wordmarks. It looks clean and has a beautiful shape which look already perfect in any words.

I normally choose font which look very simple and easy to communicate with every work I have done. I have no idea before about their history until I had a chance to watch a film name” Helvetica” in my Vis communication class and it surprised me a lot!

As in the film show we can see many signs /ads etc.used Helvetica. I never realized how popular of Helvetica which have a big impact to our society. Helvetica is one of the most popular typefaces of all time. It was designed by Max Miedinger in 1957 for the Haas foundry of Switzerland (the name is derived from Helvetia, the Latin name for Switzerland).

I have another one example of how simple but look good and perfect in one lay out with Helvetica on the top. Even though in the same lay out mix with different kind of Helvetica styles ; bold, medium, roman, light etc.

Wheelchairs !!!

I saw all informations from designboom and I think it's very interesting!
We may never need to use a wheelchair in our entire life, but some people use one everyday.
The design of this product hasn’t changed over many years. however, more and more designers are beginning to understand that the wheelchair could use some good design. here is a round up of some interesting and unusual wheelchairs that intend to improve upon the simple design.

toyota i-real concept

the toyota i-real concept is a wheel chair which is designed to wrap around the body allowing users to zip around un encumbered. the vehicle travels at high speed and angles back to increase stability and safety.Inside the cockpit of the i-real, a side mounted dashboard features a slew of controls right next to the handle mounted brake and gas. the concept also features an led embed back panel that can display graphics, including signals and other symbols to help navigate in public.

solar wheelchairs

Just because you ride in an electric wheelchair doesn’t mean you can’t be sustainable at the same time. These solar powered wheelchairs show that a small panel added to a regular electric wheelchair can take you off the grid, adding more mobility to a chair without worrying about running out of power.

chariot wheelchair

The chariot wearable transportation device is a new form a wheelchair developed by exmovere holdings inc. The self-balancing device is hand free allowing users to ride around just like an able bodied person walks.
